Smirnoff Presents: A Social Media Solution In 60 Seconds

It’s been a while since we have featured a video concept from the guys over at the Miami School of Advertising, but this one that has just been released is well worth a look.

In case you are not aware of the Miami school, it essentially have their students create social media campaigns for the world’s largest brands which are then turned into little videos.
It is a great way of getting the students some exposure and feedback while also grabbing the attention of some of the world’s biggest brands. The latest video is created with the Vodka brand Smirnoff as the star and it focuses on a social media concept around cutting drink driving. There’s no doubt that it’s a smart idea, but we would see some issues with getting this to work on a practical level in terms of money flowing through the system and the redemption of coupons.
The school do have to be admired for getting students to think in such a big picture way though and although this would be practically impossible to implement, we could certainly see ourselves using it!
