Twitter Reveals New Tailored Trends Feature

There's news that microblogging social network, Twitter, just announced a new system algorithm on personalized users' trending topics based on their location and those people who followed them.

While the tailored trends doesn't seemed to bother most people, it does make the world a bit smaller than what we ought it would be.

As Twitter have mentioned it, this will ensure that the trending topics list will show "emerging topics that matter most to each user."

Meanwhile, Twitter still haven't evoke from each users the standard trending topics or the non-personalized view, which still allows each user to see trending topics in a specific city or country anywhere in the world they want to know about.

It is obvious that Twitter has been rolling out personalized features for its users to enjoy, as it makes the Tailored Trends the default view on Twitter's website, as well as Twitter's mobile apps for the Android and iPhone devices.

This new Twitter system will gradually take significant change to the Twitter interface. So if you're a Twitter fan or a Twitter user, expect this new feature to appear on your Twitter page soon.

However, Twitter users who doesn't like this new feature can revert back and opt-in again to the company's "standard" trend list by changing their location on Twitter.com.
