One of the great benefits that Facebook has offered businesses for a while now is a dedicated app just for managing Facebook Pages. The Facebook Pages Manager mobile app was designed from the beginning to make it easy for business owners and marketing agencies to log into and manage one or more Pages. Posting updates, sharing photos and responding to fan comments is coupled with access to Facebook Insights for on-the-fly reach and engagement metrics.
Business owners and Page managers now have a rebuilt app from Facebook that is faster and easier to use.
According to the update:
- Scrolling through Page timeline is faster than ever
- Photos open fast and close with one downward swipe
- Posting photos with filters and auto-enhancement option
- Message could now send emoji and stickers
After applying the update, it was evident that speeds were definitely improved, particularly when it came to opening and closing photos. For Pages that work with a lot of images, this will help a lot. And being able to apply some basic editing and filters to uploaded images is a great feature that's been sorely lacking.
The fact that this app is even available to businesses should not be overlooked. Google+ does allow Google+ Page management through their app, but you have to log out and log back in to access a Page, and LinkedIn does not allow Company Page management at all.
