Bing Adds Search to Microsoft Office

Users will soon be able to search with Bing without leaving Office Word Online, Bing announced earlier today in a blog post.
binginsightsThe new Insights from Office scans users' documents and makes educated guesses about the nature of the query, saving time and eliminating the potential of distractedly getting sucked into the vortex of search engines. The search results are then ranked in order of importance.
In the blog, Ryan Gavin, general manager of product management at Bing, used Abraham Lincoln as an example: If your child is writing about Lincoln, the software is sophisticated enough to know that it's a report on the 16th president, as opposed to the car company, the movie, or the capital of Nebraska.
